Park Farm Liveries is based on a working farm set amidst beautiful Shropshire countryside, with miles of off-road hacking and easy access to bridle paths. It is owned and managed by Delyth and Martin Mottershead (seen here with their daughters Rowena, Megan and Sarah), who took on Park Farm in 2005 and have made great strides in achieving their ambition of providing a safe, comfortable, and enjoyable environment for both horse and rider. Whilst the facilities are already superior to those on many yards, plans are continually evolving  for things to get even better!

The family combines its 'yard duties' with their other 'day jobs'. Martin farms over 500 acres, Delyth (apart from being a farmer's wife and mother of 3!), who can't remember a time without horses in her life, breeds golden retrievers and labradors under the Lye Hall affix, and eldest daughter Megan is currently studying at Hartpury College, dashing home at weekends to be with her mare Asia. Megan has ambitions to combine a career as an equine chiropractor with being a successful dressage rider, whilst Rowena, a member of the Pony Club, has a bent towards jumping. Sarah just likes to be helpful while waiting patiently for her own pony!

Despite the busy lives they lead, the Mottersheads always make time to be helpful and supportive to livery owners, as evidenced in the
Comments section. Whilst care of your horse or pony is paramount, the yard has a friendly, relaxed atmosphere, which filters through to its equine residents!
